RE’ARE’A Tribal Bird Pendant Necklace is hand braided of waxed cotton cord using ancient Polynesian knot tying techniques. RE'ARE'A Tribal Bird Pendant is made of blued gun metal and is symbolic of the New Zealand Maori Falcon and signifies the Bringer of Joy and Laughter. The New Zealand Maori Falcon is extremely fast and agile in flight reaching speeds of up to 200km/h. Most of its prey is caught on the wing, and it kills with a tooth on its beak, unlike other Falcons which kill with their feet or claws. The rope cord has a fixed length of 20 inches (50cm) and the pendant measures 2 by ¾ inches.
